Vera Wang Fine Papers is having a pretty major moment. This Spring marks the re-launch of Vera Wang’s ever chic collection of boxed correspondence and thank you notes.

Equal parts fresh and sophisticated, the collection’s palette and patterns were predefined to echo the iconic bold, feminine and beautiful aesthetic found in both Vera Wang Ready-to-Wear and Bridal. Inspired by historic textiles, the punchy Distressed Foil Notes take iconic Vera Wang patterns to a level both vibrant and modern. The Watercolor Notes and Assortments reflect the growing trend in a painterly hand — done the Vera Wang way — while the Informal Notes, Bordered Correspondence and Embossed Notes (on colored paper) propel the classic Vera Wang aesthetic into a brand new season.

The Vera Wang Gang finally got out of the office today to see The Met’s ‘Punk: Chaos to Couture’ exhibit that launched at this year’s Met Gala. What a fabulous and visionary display of the evolutionary qualities of culture and fashion. This exhibit is a definite must see for all fashionista’s!

She wore a black silk georgette and silk faille v-neck halter ballgown with hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué and multi-layered, crushed and honey comb tulle skirt from the Vera Wang Bride Fall 2012 collection.

This year, across all categories, Vera Wang’s ad campaign is inspired by the verdant beauty of the forest floor. Creating images for national bridal magazines such as Martha Stewart, Town & Country and Inside Weddings is always one of the most exciting and rewarding aspects of our jobs on the William Arthur Marketing Team. This concept was challenging, unexpected, and incredibly fun. We thought we’d share our process:

PREPARATION: After reviewing Vera Wang On Weddings, we determined which invitation suites would resonate with brides and complement the campaign’s natural environment: Gold Border,Calligraphic Crest on Pewter, Bridal Damask Pocket, Letterpress with Oversized Monogram, and Vintage with Banner were selected.

THE DAY OF: To simulate natural settings, we built three unique dioramas with varying depths, dimensions, textures, and features. Each invitation was then paired with an environment that flattered it’s format, size, and shape. We finessed each shot by removing or adding components, rotating items, and adjusting the camera angle. Each diorama was pruned and revised the throughout the day to create further variations in each scene.
