First things first, where did you meet your husband? How did you know he was the one?
We met at work. I noticed him on my floor and decided to introduce myself and the rest is history! I knew he was the one on our first date.
How did he propose? Tell us the story!
We were having Sunday dinner at my mothers, after asking my mother’s permission he asked me in the kitchen whilst everyone was having dinner outside.
Once the wedding plans started, what made you decide on a Vera Wang gown?
I tried on a number of dresses at Brown’s bridal in London, however once I tried the Diana dress I could finally imagine my wedding day. From there the venue and décor all fell into place.
How did you accessorize to make your wedding day unique?
I wanted a unique vintage theme so a lot of my décor was handmade or brought from a company called Pink-Lemons.
What was the inspiration or theme for your wedding?
Our first ever holiday together we stayed in a beautiful farmhouse in Montepulcanio, we fell in love with the food and scenery. I always wanted to marry outdoors surrounded by rolling hills and the magnificent greenery of Italy.
Did you stay true to the Old English wedding rhyme: Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. If so, what were yours? Yes, Something new was my dress, something borrowed was my earrings and my lingerie was my something blue.
What tips do you have for new brides picking out their wedding dress?
Try on dresses you would never think of wearing , you never know what suits you until you do. The Dress I finally brought was very different from the one I had in mind.
What was your favorite part of the day? And, are there any other anecdotes you would like to share? My favorite part was the evening dessert party.
The whole day! Even when all the speeches and formality had been done and people were relaxed, the party was just getting started….As a bride try to enjoy and soak up everything from the minute you start getting ready until you fall asleep at night. I wish I could do it all again
