As the Vera Wang headquarters here in NYC packs up and prepares to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with friends and family, we thought we would share some of the things we are most thankful for this year.
Happy Thanksgiving! Xx The Vera Wang Gang
I am always thankful for family, but this year I am most thankful for my new niece and nephew. They are twins who arrived 4 months ago and they are the loves of my life.
- Priya Shukla: VP, Public Relations
I am thankful for family, good friends and my miniature dachshund, Monster.
- Lyle Maltz: VP, Licensing
After the devastation of hurricane Sandy, I am more appreciative of the everyday necessities and I am most thankful for my loving and supportive family and friends!
- Jessica Burzichelli: Account Executive RTW
I am thankful for my Mom. Growing up, I’m starting to see her more in myself; the way I think, my voice, my smile, I feel like if I end up being just like her I’ll be really fortunate. When my father passed, she showed her strength and showed me how to grieve and move on. Without her I’d be stuck where I was at age 20. She knows who she is, what she wants and is the most giving person and that makes me feel confident in the person I am becoming.
- Giselle Ghofrani: Associate Designer
I’m thankful for the love and support I receive from my best friend Brendan. Every minute of the 12 years we’ve know each other he’s made me feel nothing but special and I know he always has my back through thick and thin. He is the definition of a true friend and I am so lucky to have him in my life.
- Peter Hale Cooney III: Associate Designer
I’m thankful for family and friends because without them I don’t know where I’d be.
- Tyler Walton: Assistant, Licensing
I am thankful for friends and family, Christmas lights, ginger snap cookies and apple cider- a random list, but all very important!
- Kristina Hennig: Assistant, Advertising & Creative Services
There are a couple of things that I am most thankful for this year. First, for my parents. They’re so supportive and encouraging. Thankful for my good health and the health of my loved ones. Thankful for the all of the opportunities I’ve had thus far. Also, for my friends and them always being there when I need a good laugh!
- Priscilla Colon: Director of Human Resources
I’m thankful that my Father’s recovery from knee replacement surgery is going so smoothly, that I have a naughty puppy to make me laugh daily and that one year can make such a big difference.
- Olivia Thacher: Licensing Manager
With the aftermath of Sandy still affecting our state, I am most thankful for having a home to go home to. Tragedy can bring out the best and worst in people. Many people who didn’t get drastically affected were allowing people to charge their phones, laptops, etc by way of extension cords left outside. Food & clothing drives were created in abundance. I am thankful for humanity rising to every challenge no matter what.
- Crystal Gooding: Reception
