Did you have a certain style in mind when you started your search for a dress?
Not really.  I was simply looking for something that makes me look like a princess. I believe what people say, you will know it is THE dress when you try it on.

What made you decide on your Vera Wang gown?
The emotional moment when I tried on the gown. And I’ve always wanted a Vera Wang gown as my wedding gown.

Did you bring anyone along dress shopping?
My fiance. We both loved the dress and had the feelings that this is it.

How did you accessorize to make your wedding day outfit unique?
For my traditional Chinese ceremony in the morning, I wore a flower hair comb with a pearl necklace/earrings set.  For my Western ceremony in the evening, I wore a Garden Tiara and a matching veil embroidered with Swarovski crystal.

What was the inspiration or theme for your wedding?
Le Petite Prince – the journey of the prince in search of his rose (his true love). We designed our wedding invitation, decorations and even our own wedding logo around Le Petite Prince and his rose.

What was your favorite part of the day?
There were so many! I will always remember the moment when my parents covered me with the veil and gave me away, my first dance with my husband in my dream dress and the entire ceremony celebrated with my friends from all over the world.  Everything was just perfect!

What tips do you have for new brides picking out their wedding dress?
Check out Vera Wang’s Web site first and have some ideas in mind. Then just go make a reservation and try a few gowns on. You will know your gown when you try it on.

Are there any other anecdotes you would like to share?
My Vera Wang wedding gown traveled half of the globe to me. It was purchased in New York, shipped to me and tailored in Hong Kong and eventually made the way to my wedding in Taiwan.

Just like the amazing love story of me and my husband — we first met in Taiwan, went apart for ten years and then met again and fell in love in New York. Now that we start our new life in Hong Kong, this dress carried our great love and memories of our time in New York, walking hand in hand on Madison Avenue and looking for the perfect dress together for our big day.
