Lydia describes her style as vintage with a modern twist. “I pull inspiration from ethnic prints, I love Indian culture, funky prints,” she says. “I do love big statement pieces.” (Sounds like the necklace found a perfect home.)
“A daytime look would be to wear it with a print tunic and jeans,” she says. “But I’m big with belts so maybe I will even wear it as a belt!”
A freelance fashion designer currently working on an eco-friendly project, Lydia is also a cheese monger – with a food passion passed down from her mother.
So we have to know — what is a good winter cheese pick? She recommends Hooligan from Cato Corner Farm. “It’s a beautiful little wheel, stinky but delicious.” And right now she is pairing it with a Mexican, stone-ground, cinnamon chocolate. Yum!
