I recently purchased some Vera Wang flats. I have recently suffered a herniated disk and had to have back surgery. In preparation for transitioning from a lifetime of high heels, pumps, platforms and stilettos I was seeking out a flat shoe that I could "deal" with. Instead what I found was these amazing flat shoes by Vera Wang Lavender. They are beautifully designed and made. I began to feel much better about having to wear a flat shoe. Before I always thought that I would have to surrender my style and fashion for flat shoes. I purchased 2 pairs with crystals and the quality is wonderful. Knowing that I went from multiple shoe choices daily to now less than 5 has been challenging. However, it brightens my day when I can wear my crystal adorned Vera Wang flats.

If I could make only one comment and request, it would be that back up crystals be sold with the shoes. Just like buttons on blouses. Unfortunately I have a few crystals are now missing and I have only worn them a half a dozen times. Due to the wonderful yet delicate craftsmanship, the crystals can fall out of the individual settings.

I would really appreciate a response about crystal replacements as well.

Thank you for giving me a beautiful flat shoe that I can wear proudly.

Sincerely,
Sheila

I have never sent a letter about shoes before, but I feel that in this case, kudos are in order. For once, I did not feel that I got robbed when spending a significant amount of money on a pair of shoes. I purchased the Vera Wang Lavender Ballet flat with the crystal accent on the toes and little leather bows. They were originally 295, and I waited and got really lucky when they went on sale. They arrived today and they are simply the most magnificent shoes I have ever purchased. They are made out of the softest leather, the inside sole is stiched in place and not glued. The jewels on the toes are also stiched into place on a little bed of leather. But the inside is the acme of shoemaking- there is leather lining the entire INSIDE of the shoe!! They feel wonderful and it is sooo nice to see actual craftsmanship. I have spent more on shoes that were horribly uncomfortable and the leather was not high quality, not too mention that my left foot is not floating about. It is a known fact that for the most part right handed people have a slightly smaller left foot, and there is nothing worse than spending good money on shoes and having your foot flap around. I cannot stop raving about these shoes. It is the kind of shoes, that we used to make in America. It's the kind of shoe that celebrates quality and I for one am happy to be a part of a hopeful return to quality and craftsmanship over just name recognition. Thank you to the Vera Wang team for making a wonderfully crafted, comfortable, AND beautiful shoe. I am hoping that this is a trend that continues, Sincerely, Oona Mooney
